About this venue
The oldest and largest archaeological museum in Cyprus, housing artefacts spanning from the Neolithic era to the Byzantine period. Highlights include Bronze Age pottery, ancient Cypriot sculptures, Roman mosaics, gold jewellery, and the renowned terracotta army of over 2,000 figurines from Agia Irini. The museum offers guided educational programmes for school groups and is an excellent introduction to Cyprus's rich ancient heritage for older children. Located steps from the Venetian Walls of old Nicosia.
